There's plenty of uncensored mosaic free releases. Mosaic free releases also sell significantly better than censored works, at least that was what Mangagamer told me, and I'm sure Jast and others would say the same.Mosaics aren't a requirement anywhere else in the world, and if you can't but in the effort to make a proper localized release, which means no Mosaics, then why would I give you my hard earned money? I mean, you're half assing the release. It's basically equal or slightly better than a fan translation.You want to put out the best game possible. You don't want to give people a reason to not support the game, and that's what you do when you have mosaics.
Sure, some people don't care, and stangely enough I've even heard the rare comment that some people even like mosaics. Most people don't however, and would rather have it uncensored.The first thing people ask when new announcements are made or a game is released is basically 'mosaics?' And if there are mosaics, then the grumbling happens, and people say 'no buy' or some ♥♥♥♥ like that. Happens every single time. I'm positive Cherry Kiss Games here have seen that happen. I'm sure they've received e-mails, complaints on forums, etc, all about mosaics, and asking for mosaic free releases.I'm sure Cherry Kiss would rather there be no mosaics, because no doubt they're losing sales because of it, but nothing they can do about it.
